Many of the happy moms we previously served gave our fusion meals alternative names like ‘modern’ and ‘western’ and we’ll gladly take those! We serve multi-cuisine (i.e. Asian-Mediterranean) fusion dishes with recipes hailing from other countries like Japan.

For the longest time, there is this notion that confinement food has to be concentrated with herbs (and taste like it too) and strong-tasting. This could not be further from the truth and it has been our constant work in progress since Day 1 to take this notion down.

We Support You in Breastfeeding!

The reality is, breastfeeding can be emotionally and physically draining. The fatigue that follows your daily breastfeeding routine can be understood only by other moms who have gone through the same thing. Experts share that you will burn between 200 to 500 calories when you breastfeed. That is equivalent to more than half an hour of high impact aerobics!

Hence, if you are not supplying your body with enough energy, you are going to be left weakened and constantly tired. Apart from helping moms regain their energy, we also incorporate various milk-boosting ingredients into our meals that can stimulate milk production. This, hopefully, will spare them of the common breastfeeding stress as a result of low milk supply. 

Our clients most favoured milk-boosters from our dishes are salmon, quinoa, green papaya, and cumin!

Whether you are exclusively breastfeeding or not, it is still important to know what you should be eating more (or less). One of our happiest moments is hearing moms say that they manage to multiply the amount of milk they pumped after days of having our food!

That said, while knowing what lactation-boosting food to eat is good, knowing how much you should have is also crucial. No, we don’t mean you should double down on all of your dishes, but you could start by learning what each dish can do for you and whether you have to reduce or increase it. 

For example, if your condition indicates that you need more protein, then, by all means, do scoop those extra chicken pieces onto your plate. This is exactly what we mean by your confinement diet should be based on your condition and personal needs.

We also try our best to be as accommodative as possible. We understand that you may be allergic to certain food or ingredients. Hence, we allow our clients to opt out of those ingredients to prevent any reactions. For example, say you would like to take out vinegar from all of your meals, we certainly can make that possible for you. For your information, our confinement menu is fully planned by a nutritionist we work with. 

All of the calories are carefully calculated to fit the needs of a mom post-childbirth. As mentioned before, you would need a higher calorie intake than you normally do because you are also burning up more even though it may seem like you are doing less.
